Affiliate disclosure
How this site is funded
themacspecialist.uk is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk.
What that means for you
- Buttons marked “View on Amazon.co.uk” take you to Amazon. If you buy something, Amazon may pay us a small commission.
- You don’t pay more because you came from us.
- Most buttons open Amazon search results for the product name. We link to a single product page only after checking it’s the right product.
- Affiliate links are marked
rel="sponsored"for search engines.
Banner ads
Some pages also carry banner ads from 5od, a small ad service run by the owner of this site. They’re for shops and brands in the Awin affiliate network, and they’re chosen to suit the page, not you. Each one is labelled “Ad”. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission. Ads only load if you accept ads cookies; see how ads and cookies work here.
What it doesn’t change
- Compatibility badges come from published rules and Apple’s specs. Commission plays no part.
- No brand pays to be listed, and we don’t accept free products in return for coverage.
- We don’t show Amazon prices, ratings or reviews, and we don’t write fake reviews or test claims.
Other outbound links (to Apple, makers, UK safety bodies and photo sources) aren’t paid. If that ever changes, the link will be marked as an affiliate link. Questions: hello@themacspecialist.uk.
