Cables for AirPods Pro 2 with MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C)
Every USB-C cable looks the same from the outside, but they differ in two ways: how much power they’re rated to carry (60W or 240W) and how fast they move data (from USB 2’s 480Mb/s up to Thunderbolt 5). A charge-only cable is fine for charging an iPhone but no good for an external SSD or display. See USB-C cables explained.

What to look for
- For charging only: a 60W cable covers iPhones and iPads; MacBook Pro fast charging over USB-C can need a 240W-rated cable.
- For drives, docks and displays, match the cable to the port — USB 3, USB4 or Thunderbolt.
- Lightning devices need a USB-C to Lightning cable (or Apple’s adapter).
