Rule: Screen spray or keyboard tools (Mac) — Apple allows a screen cleaner sprayed onto a cloth for Mac and Apple displays, and compressed air for MacBook keyboards, but advises against cleaning products and compressed air on iPhone and iPad. Apple: 'Don't spray cleaning products directly onto the item', so spray onto the cloth, never onto the device. Apple allows 'a cleaner intended for use with a screen or display' on iMac and Apple displays, but its iPhone page says not to use cleaning products other than the disinfecting wipes it lists, so use only the cloth on iPhone. On nano-texture glass, use Apple's polishing cloth. WHOOSH! says the formula is alcohol- and ammonia-free, which fits Apple's ban on ammonia for displays.
