Rule: Alcohol wipes (iPhone, iPad, Mac) — Apple allows 70% isopropyl or 75% ethyl alcohol wipes on the hard, non-porous surfaces of iPhone, iPad and Mac. For other devices, check Apple’s cleaning advice first. Apple allows 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes (or 75% ethyl alcohol) on hard, non-porous surfaces of iPhone, iPad and Mac. ZEISS gives a '70% alcohol formula' but does not name the alcohol type for these wipes. Apple says not to use such wipes on Apple Vision Pro, fabric or leather, and to use the polishing cloth on nano-texture glass. Keep moisture out of openings; ZEISS's own tip of using a brush or swab inside charging points goes against Apple's AirPods advice not to put anything in the case's charging port.
